How to select regions?
WageIndicator delivers new Living Wage data each quarter. You can find the overview of data availability for the Latest Quarter and for the Year Average (Guidance) here.
Good to know:
Year Average data is recommended for Living Wages implementation.
There are less regions available for the Year Average (Guidance) as compared to the Latest Quarter.
What is the difference between Latest Quarter Region and Year Average (Guidance) Region?
The regions will be the same, but the Year Average (Guidance) is built upon four quarters, so it has four times more data. It is more solid. WageIndicator creates the Year Average (Guidance) each October, on the basis of four quarters. In case there were two quarters which didn't come through the rigid thresholds of data quality, there will be no Year Average. Thus, you will not find that region in the Year Average (Guidance) region selector. However, that region might be in the region selector for the Latest Quarter option.
